Hello, I am Ana
I'm a project manager and a parent, living abroad in Madrid, Spain.
A few years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Spain wasn't part of the long-range plan. Like many international relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The initial months were challenging — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more difficult than anticipated.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. Yet gradually, routines took shape. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Built Cliff Seed Clover
Most information online was either corporate-level relocation guidance or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site exists to bridge that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Spain.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site IS:
- Practical insights from life in Spain
- Centered on family life and day-to-day realities
- Updated whenever something meaningful changes
This site ISN'T:
- Not a tourism-authority resource
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- Just another generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our time in Spain goes on, and the learning journey continues. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll keep recording what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Madrid or anywhere in Spain, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Cheers,
Ana
